About the Rod Holder – Stop compromising rod holder standards by forcing a decision between holding a bait caster, spinning reel, offshore reel, or fly reel. The RAILBLAZA Rod Holder II will hold any type of rod and reel, with quick adjustments. The rotating collar helps reduce ‘strike-theft’ and the rear gimble lock reduces rod rotation for compatible rods. This rod holder is a fully adjustable 360° around and over 90° vertically. Like all RAILBLAZA accessories, this the Rod Holder II fits all RAILBLAZA bases.

    This rod holder securely holds your rods/reels in place with all of the working components of the reel (bait caster/spinning) able to work freely. Great Product, and definitely recommended for any angler’s situation.

    I was searching for tough, durable rod holders that could handle strong take downs from the big catfish that I chase from my kayak. I chose these because of the much lower profile that they have compared to some of their competition. My only concern was their strength. Upon receiving them I was very impressed with their appearance and decided to give them a shot. The first fish caught using them was the biggest fish I’ve ever caught and boy did he give this rod holder a test! The Railblaza II handled the trophy fish flawlessly and removed any doubt I had in it’s toughness. All my fears have been relieved and I would recommend these to any one in the market.

    Exactly what I was looking for, the product description was accurate, and helpful. Installation was a breeze. I used to carry my rod in my lap, very cumbersome when paddling, now I have it behind me out of the way when traversing to the right spot, and then easily reach for it. Another huge plus is that all I need are additional bases and I can now carry my rods on all my water craft! What a GREAT product!
